Popular for picnics, the gardens provide a peaceful atmosphere, with much to do and see. Cycling is permitted in the park, and paths are used for joggers and runners.

The Royal Albert Hall

Such a spectacular building hosting a selection of musical, comedy and dance events.
If there is not an event that takes your fancy, and you just wish to take a look at the hall, the venue offers an engaging tour, with the option to have a behind the scenes or an afternoon tea tour.

Holland Park

A delight at any time of year, with a huge variety of spaces, from semi wild woodland, a Japanese garden and geometric formal gardens.
In the summer months you can even watch opera in the delightful open air theatre, surrounded by the remains of Holland House.

Hammersmith Riverside

Make your way towards the river bank where the famous Hammersmith Bridge stands- arguably the finest bridge across the Thames. From here follow the waterfront west along Lower Mall, past the greenery of Furnivall Gardens and the handful of houseboats that permanently reside on the water here.
There are plenty of activities and attractions to be enjoyed along this stretch of the River Thames such as:

  • Kelmscott House on Upper Mall – home of William Morris
  • London Corinthian Sailing Club, based on the banks of the Thames
