The Brook Green is steeped in history and has stood at this site since 1886 underneath the hotel is a running brook, which still flows to this day.

The hotel was originally used as a coach house and by the 1930’s had been separated into several sections to allow for the separation of classes. It was also a major part of the local community with various popular artists of the day using it’s facilities to showcase their talents, a different act could be enjoyed every night of the week from comedians through to sopranos coming together to entertain.

The BBC used the Brook Green to broadcast organ recitals in the popular salon bar which at one point in time even included a performance by Mr W J Kerley who was the landlord of the day!
